Satellite link with BMI The Hampshire Clinic

Wessex Fertility operates a Satellite service at The Hampshire Clinic in Basingstoke.

Our aim is to minimise the amount of travelling and subsequent stress for our patients. So, if you live closer to Basingstoke, for your convenience, you can visit Mr Ben O’Sullivan, Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at The Hampshire Clinic for all investigations, routine ultrasound scans and treatment planning and consultations.

You will need to come to Wessex Fertility to undergo the egg collection, embryology and embryo transfers.

Link with The Instituto Bernabeu

Wessex Fertility also operates a Clinic Programme with Dr Rafael Bernabeu, Medical Director at The Instituto Bernabeu in Alicante.

The link with Alicante has proven highly successful, enabling us to offer donor egg treatment to UK patients who might have extensive waiting times without this facility. Unfortunately, there is a limited supply of donor eggs and sperm in the UK. This was one of the primary reasons for us setting up a link with the established Spanish clinic in March 2008.

The Instituto Bernabeu has good access to donor eggs and sperm and can reduce waiting time for patients. The staff at the clinic are used to welcoming patients from the UK and speak English, with translation available if required.

The clinic is able to offer access to a good supply of quality donor eggs and sperm, whilst at the same time providing treatment and care that conforms to all UK regulatory standards and requirements. Their success rates are approx 60% and they can offer treatment promptly once all the necessary tests and paperwork are complete.
